The new Silent 80 touches water

We are thrilled to announce that our new flagship, the Silent 80 (SY80), has officially touched water. Earlier this week, the owners cut the ribbon on their new home at sea during a launch celebration at our shipyard in Fano, Italy.

Spacious and social by nature, the SY80 is designed for owners who love cruising with company. With exceptional volume, outstanding layout flexibility, and elevated onboard comfort, it brings the Silent Yachts vision to full scale. And like all our catamarans, it’s solar-powered and fully electric, promising a silent, near-zero-emission cruising experience.

This first SY80 is a 2-Deck version with four guest cabins, including master and VIP suites. It offers ample space and features a dedicated helm station for steering the yacht while enjoying a 360-degree view. The upper deck includes generous sunbeds, while the main deck features additional social spaces, including a panoramic saloon (the most spacious in its class), lounge areas, and a bar.

With top speeds of 12 knots and a comfortable cruising pace of 7–8 knots, the SY80 is equipped with an impressive battery capacity of 522 kWh or 696 kWh, and a peak solar array of 22.4 kWp. She accommodates up to 12 guests and includes expansive lounge areas, generous storage for water toys, and signature Made in Italy craftsmanship.

Curious to step aboard? Join us at the upcoming Cannes Yachting Festival, where the SY80 will make its official world debut.
