Ruban Bleu Electric Boats launches a new version of the iconic 5-seater ACE: the ACE2

In response to growing demand for rivertrips, French manufacturer Ruban Bleu Electric Boats has announced a long-awaited innovation: the evolution of its 5-seater ACE.
The ACE 2 is a version that features a number of improvements to provide an even more enjoyable browsing experience.
Practical and comfortable, the ACE 2 is ideal for family cruising
In 2024, the manufacturer pushed back the boundaries of the compact no-licence boat with the launch of the ACE 2. Available from today, it has the same number of seats (5) with some notable improvements:
- The deck layout has been redesigned to ensure a smoother, more comfortable ride on board.
- A centre console has been added for even greater practicality.
- A slight modification to the hull significantly improves the boat’s manoeuvrability.
- The rear hatch has been removed for reasons of watertightness and simplicity. Engine access is now from inside the boat.
- Access to all the boat’s technical equipment (drive, charger, battery) has been simplified to ensure easy day-to-day maintenance.
- A full keel protection system is now available as an option.
Ruban Bleu Electric Boats: a success story spanning more than 30 years
A forerunner in slow tourism, Ruban Bleu Electric Boats is a French manufacturer of electric boats without a licence, based in Vigneux de Bretagne, near Nantes, in the Loire-Atlantique region, since 1992.

Driven by the desire to defend a 100% French approach, this Nantes-based company regularly develops new boats and engines.
In particular, it has developed the ECO ONE range of motors, the fruit of R&D innovation, a new generation of high-performance electric motors (up to 1,200 hours of use before overhaul). Ruban Bleu Electric Boats is the only manufacturer of POD electric motors in France.
