ePropulsion eLite Named 2024 Top Product
Atlanta, Ga. – ePropulsion, a global leader and market challenger in marine electric propulsion systems and services, announced today the ePropulsion eLite electric outboard has been named one of Boating Industry’s 2024 Top Products.
To be eligible for consideration, products or services must have been introduced or significantly updated since January 2023. With hundreds of well-qualified submissions from manufacturers across every segment of the industry for consideration, selecting top products was no easy task for the Boating Industry editorial team. The winning products were chosen based on many factors such as their impact on the industry, innovation and how they advanced their category.

Designed to be the most compact and most lightweight electric outboard in its class, the ePropulsion eLite 500W electric outboard is an easy-to-use alternative to small internal combustion engines. The eLite can run at top speed of 4 knots for 40 minutes, for a range of over 3 miles, or at a cruising speed of 2.4 knots for almost 3 and a half hours with a maximum range of over 9 miles – perfect for a shore run. Sport mode adds an additional 50% boost in power for challenging conditions bringing the top speed to almost 5 knots. With multiple charging options it can be fully charged in around 4 hours. At just under 3-feet in length and weighing 15-pounds including the built-in battery, the eLite stores easily and the one-click quick-release bracket allows for installation and removal in a matter of seconds. The tiller handle converts to a perfectly balanced carry handle. With multiple trim and tilt angles, adjustable steering resistance and shaft length, and a shallow-water mode, the eLite is completely customizable. The Smart BMS efficiently optimizes performance, carefully regulating battery level, temperature, and remaining State-of-Charge all displayed on an ultra-simple interface, leading to extended range, a more energy-efficient operation and longer battery life. Built to last, the motor is constructed of aviation-grade aluminum alloy for lighter weight and greater durability, and the anti-ground auto kick-up feature protects the motor from accidental damage.
