ePropulsion Celebrates Continued Growth and Industry Partners

ePropulsion, the global leader in marine electric propulsion systems and services, today announced significant global growth, driven by the successful launch and adoption of its new electric outboard platforms, including the eLite and X Series.
During its annual global distributor meeting, ePropulsion reported a 40% year-over-year increase in sales for 2024, a milestone achievement that underscores the brand’s rising influence in the marine electrification space. The meeting was attended by distributors from over 20 different countries, highlighting the company’s expanding international reach and growing global network.

Much of this momentum can be attributed to the success of the eLite electric outboard, which has quickly gained traction among boaters worldwide. Since its launch in January 2024, ePropulsion has sold more than 7,000 units of the eLite, making it one of the most successful product introductions in the company’s history.
“We’re excited and very grateful for the continuously growing interest in ePropulsion at both the dealer and OEM levels,” said Danny Tao, co-founder and CEO of ePropulsion. “On behalf of everyone at ePropulsion, I want to thank all of our industry partners for leading us to continued growth as we bring more sustainable products to boating. We’re looking forward to another successful year in 2025.”
As part of the distributor meeting, ePropulsion also took its partners to visit a flagship electrification project on the Li River in southwest China. Working in close partnership with the local government, ePropulsion developed a custom electric propulsion solution known as the longtail motor, for over 2,000 bamboo sightseeing rafts that were previously powered by combustion engines. The project, which has already electrified over 1000 rafts, is significantly reducing air, water, and noise pollution while transforming the tourist experience in this iconic scenic area. With each raft now operating at under 60 decibels, down from more than 120, the initiative showcases ePropulsion’s ability to deliver scalable, low-impact solutions tailored to regional needs.
As it continues to invest in product innovation and dealer partnerships, ePropulsion remains committed to advancing sustainable marine mobility and shaping the future of electric boating worldwide.
